I BOUGHT THE CARD JUNE FOR A GIFT DECIDED I WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH VANILLA AND WENT AND GOT A REGULAR MASTER CARD GIFT CARD, I KEPT THE CARD FOR MY PERSONAL USE. WE TRIED TO USE THE CARD YESTERDAY THE 24 AND DID NOT GO THROUGH SO WENT TO WALMART WHICH WAS WERE I GOT IT, DID MY SHOPPING AND GAVE THE VANILLA CARD AND DID NOT GO THROUGH.
CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY TOLD ME TO CALL VANILLA CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE BALANCE ON THE CARD WAS ZERO DOLLAR $0.00, SOMEBODY USED THE CARD IN MAY, I BOUGHT THE CARD JUNE. WALMART MANAGER TALKED TO YOUR SUPERVISOR.
I DONT KNOW THE OUTCOME, BUT ME, HAD TO PUT A QUERY , GOD KNOWS WHEN IT WOULD BE RESOLVE, FOR SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CARD. ITS NOT FAIR, I SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED FOR SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO THE CARD EVEN BEFORE I BOUGHT IT.

I put $30 on this vanilla mastercard for my boyfriend to use on a game online for father's day. When he goes to enter this information it declines him.
So i call customer service and wait and wait and wait until finally some foreign guy answers. I give him all of my personal info because apparantly it cant identify me online or my mother or my bf. What the *** Dude basically gives me the run around and tells me to email him copies of all my personal *** including ID, SS card and a copy of a bill to confirm my address and even then it will take 1-2 business days to get a refund check in the mail and even then it may not happen incase they still cant identify me based on all that info. Huge huge rip off.
$30 of my hard earned cash down the drain becsuse of some scamming sons of *** Also, *** walmart for allowing this *** to be sold in stores.
I feel like they know its a scam yet they let it slide due to the fact that they get their little $3.65 processing fee for every sucker that picks one up. NEVER AGAIN.

$200 DOLLARS WHICH I PURCHASE AS A WEDDING PRESENT THANK GOD SEND A REAL MASTERCARD INSTEAD, SOMETHING TELL ME THAT I DID NOT KNOW THE COMPANY, AND DID NOT WANT TO BE EMBARRASED. I KEPT THE CARD FOR MY USE.
WENT SHOPPING AND IT WAS DECLINED. I BOUGHT THE CARD JUNE 15 ANDS WHEN I CALL VANILLLA THE CARD WAS USED MAY 16, NOW I AM WAITING FOR THEM TO DO THEIR INVESTIGATION.
YOU WOULD THINK THAT WITH SO MANY CASES THEY KNOW ALREADY THAT THEY HAVE A PROBLEM. I AM NOT GOING TO LOSE THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY, I GOT IT AT WALMART SO IF I CAN NOT GET FROM ONE PLACE I WILL GO FOR THE OTHER.
I have a vanilla card
I ordered 2 pink runningshoes which never showed. Free people said they gave me a refund but it’s not on the car.
MasterCard the last 4 were 7005. Freepeople was the store online.
Can’t use card
Amazon wouldnt take card. Looked up online and the card is not found. JUST loaded with 100$

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased one of these cards. This company is stealing money and getting away with it!
Loaded $40.00 on a my vanilla card at Walmart. Unable to activate it either online or through so called customer service. Had the receipt showing $40.00 was loaded on card. Customer service rep kept repeating his scripted response: "I'm sorry.
That's not the amount we show was loaded on this card. We are unable to go any further with this problem, until you can tell us the correct amount". The only thing on the receipt was the forty dollars for the shop card activation! Yet, this idiot continued to give me the same response!
Lost $40.00.
At least it wasn't a large amount. Never again!!!

My sister bought a card from Sam's for my son we tried to register it been having problems we sent all the info regarding the card the last information pieces of *** don't buy vanilla buy green _Dot *** them for *** 50 dollars wow

I Bought one for my son for Christmas for 100.00 it did not work and still does not work i have called them and i been to Walmart in Pell City and they can't fix it. Vannilla Card is taking our money and getting rich off of us.

Went a got a 25 dollar gift card to use on steam most gift cards I get makes me wait an hour I waited the hour tried it it said info was wrong checked everything was typed in right so I thought it might just be it hasn’t been an hour waited an hour tried again same thing waited an hour again didn’t work at this point I was very pissed off went to a different MasterCard site checked it worked put it on steam but every time I try to buy something it says it was declined but they took a dollar from me WTF honestly this is the first time it’s been like this and I’m never buying a MasterCard gift card again sent an email and it said I had to wait like 3 days I want what I paid money for now not in 3 days and I know asking for a refund is out of the question because companies like this *** dont like giveing money back tell you guys if you plan on sending money on steam just get a steam card you won’t have to deal with this bs

I bought a vanilla debit mastercard from this company for $100.00 dollars on or about 1-5 or 8 2018 i spent $97.46 of the funds went through O.K. I have a balance of $2.54 cents, so i tried to buy some M&Ms at walgreen today 1-18-2018 for about dollar something.
And it would not go through, so i contacted the company and they said some of my information they have is WRONG well i told them the 1st transaction went through O.K. so why did you send me the card, if all the information i gave you was not correct! Now here is the KICKER people they want me to MAIL them a bunch of information on myself that i have already given them when i signed up for the card! Before they will let me have access to my $2.54 cents, people it's not the money at all, it's the rip off thing going on with me, and a whole lot of other people posting here.
There is more going on here than we know. Do not do business with them, they can have my little $2.54 cents looks like they need it more than i do.
Oh but i do like spreading the word. Thank You, One Ripped Off Customer

Got one of of these to order some things from China, no go, only good in US. Thats ok I'll use it for gas pay at the pump and it worked...
one time. $300 on the card - 60 in gas = $0 ballance
NEVER BUY THIS CARD
I BOUGHT 4 CARDS TO GIVE TO MY EMPLOYEES FOR CHRISTMAS BONUS, NONE OF THEM WORKED, I HAD TO EMAIL AND CALL DOZENS OF TIMES AND STILL NO RESOLVE ON MANY 3 MONTHS LATER, {{REDACTED}}
Never Buy Vanilla Mastercard Giftcards
I purchased close to $2500 in gift card to give as Christmas gifts (as I have done for the past 2 years without issue). This year, though they were activated by the store I purchased them at, they would not work.
Not only did I have to re-gather them but now Vanilla MasterCard (Incomm) will not activate the ones I kept so they can be used (though I have sent them all requested documentation). Nor have they refunded my money nor will anyone return an email nor phone call concerning them. If this is how these companies do business, they will no longer have my business. It was embarrassing enough to have your gift unusable.
But more of an insult when the retailer nor the issuer will resolve the issue.
